Cube GPS can be hardwired into vehicles using optional OBD II plug or wired directly to the battery with the hardwire kit.; Thieves today know exactly where to go to disable the factory GPS on newer cars. Cube GPS can be a backup plan to help with recovery. Even if the thief removes the cables from the battery the Cube will still report using its own battery for up to two weeks.
