The Chrissie Hynde Telecaster features an alder body for a balanced sound that is a mainstay on Fender bodies. This distinctive tone is at the center of some of rock's most enduring classics. A Road Worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives this solidbody electric guitar the look and feel of Chrissie's well-loved original. A 1-ply chrome pickguard, a 6-barrel bridge with stainless steel saddles, and vintage-style locking tuners put the perfect finishing touches on this Tele, supplying you with seasoned aesthetics plus rock-solid performance and tuning stability.
Stocked with vintage-style '50s single-coil pickups, the Chrissie Hynde Telecaster is perfect for the player who desires the authentic sound of the first Telecasters to roll off the line. The heart and soul of these pickups is the Alnico 3 magnets that deliver a sweet midrange and tight bass that never gets overbearing. The enamel-coated wire used for winding the pickups and the cloth output wire are period-correct appointments. And the tin-plated copper base plate of the bridge pickup is what gives the vintage-style '50s Tele pickups that unmistakable Tele spank!
The Chrissie Hynde Telecaster is a treat to play, largely due to its mid-'60s "C"-shaped neck profile. Its 7.25-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard is complete with 21 vintage-tall frets that feel incredible to play. The neck secures to the guitar's alder body with a traditional 4-bolt plate, emblazoned with Chrissie's initials, and includes a synthetic bone nut.
