The 18V LXT 1/4 Sheet Finishing Sander offers the sanding performance of a corded version but without the cord. It offers the choice of two-speed modes at 11,000 RPM or 14,000 RPM with one-touch electronic speed control for a variety of applications. It uses a large clamping lever to install a sheet of 4-1/2" x 4" abrasive paper quickly and easily. There is a built-in dust port that facilitates through-the-pad dust collection in the removal to the included dust collection bag and can easily connect to a Makita vacuum system (sold separately) for a cleaner work environment.Convenience features include an ergonomically designed rubberized grip for increased comfort.
