The Matrix Mini features 12 scene modes, for quick access to effects, and a FreeStyle mode that allows you to make adjustments and create unique outputs and effects. A downloadable app for iOS and Android provides control of the light's settings and features, and it allows you to control one light or multiple lights, individually or as a group. The fixture has Bluetooth Mesh technology, allowing multiple fixtures to expand the Bluetooth range. Each fixture can also be used as a transmitter or receiver, allowing you to use one fixture to control others directly, without using the app. The built-in battery lasts approximately two hours when using the light on 100% brightness, and it takes approximately two hours to charge the battery to full. The fixture has two 1/4"-20 and two magnets that allow you to mount it on any magnetic surface, and it features an integrated cold shoe.
