The Plustek A350 eScan Essential is a standalone 25 page per minute scanner that scans without needing to be connected to a PC. Designed for general office use and ad-hoc/impromptu scanning. Scans to smtp email, SMB network shares, pc and macs (via an app you load on the pc or mac), FTP/SFTP, Clouds (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, Evernote), flash drives and mobile devices. Scanning is self-guided. You load a document and eScan leads you thru the scanning process and lets you save it as a job when you are finished.
