Each of these new batteries will be 10% more compact and 10% lighter compared to the previous model (R840086). Best of all, these 2.0 Ah batteries are 100% compatible with all RIDGID 18V Tools and Lithium-Ion Chargers. The RIDGID 18V Brushless Reciprocating Saw offers 20% faster cutting compared to the previous model (R8643) and features a premium orbital action switch for fast wood cutting. The R8647B has a conveniently located side-lever tool-free blade release for quick and easy blade changes.
