RIDGID introduces the 18V Cordless Compact Band Saw with (2) 4.0 Ah Batteries, 18V Charger, and Bag. The 18V Compact Band Saw provides clean, spark free, straight cuts on a variety of materials with a 2 1/2 in. cut capacity. This Band Saw has a lightweight and ergonomic design for increased balance and reduced fatigue. This Band Saw is also compatible with Milwaukee's Bi-Metal Compact Band Saw Blade (Model #48-39-0579). The included batteries get up to 4X the runtime of standard lithium-ion batteries and are built for high performance and are protected from overheating, overloading and overcharging through their Triple Protection Electronics design.
