While providing increased performance with all RIDGID 18V batteries, OCTANE tools provide maximum performance in high demand applications when paired with OCTANE batteries (not included). Paired with an OCTANE battery (not included), this tool delivers up to 15% more power than the previous model, making it perfect for DIY jobs around the house and for professionals. The included batteries get up to 4X the runtime of standard lithium-ion batteries and are built for high performance and are protected from overheating, overloading and overcharging through their Triple Protection Electronics design. Their chemistry allows for maximum performance in temperatures as low as minus 4° and up to 120°F, so you can confidently use them year-round. The charger is compatible with all RIDGID 18V Batteries.
