The optical design incorporates one hybrid aspherical element, which helps to limit spherical aberrations in order to produce greater sharpness, clarity, and even illumination. A Multi-Coating has also been applied to suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy when working in strong lighting conditions. Additionally, a removable petal-shaped lens hood is included, too, for further flare reduction and protection to the front element.
